Dictation in iOS

Any app that uses the iOS keyboard, you can use the dictation tool to enter text.  To enter text, tap the mic on the your keyboard, then start speaking.

This affordable tool has multiple features to support writing, including; advanced word-prediction, speech recognition, and TTS.

Available for iOS, Chrome, Mac/Win. The Chrome app will work even when offline.

ModMath

This iPad app replaces pencil and paper and removed the legibility barrier some students face while working out their math problems. It does not solve problems! Easily share work with teachers.

Dragon Anywhere

Dictate documents of any length, easily edit and adjust formatting. It adapts to your voice and offers custom word banks and voice training. Compatible with iOS, Android and synchronize with your desktop.

WriteMyName

On the iPad, student practice their emerging writing skills by writing their name along with 100 familiar Dolch words.

Voice Typing in gDocs

Voice Typing is a speech-to-text tool. It's easy to use and very reliable, even when speech isn't perfect.  Easy to on and off, this eliminates a barrier for those who struggle with; legibility, keyboarding, fatigue, or physical access.

Insert Equation in gDocs

While in a Google Doc, click_insert equation.  Then choose the symbol wanted, and insert into the document. Then add numbers and variables inside the field.

The WritingWizard iOS app allows for custom word lists to be created for the student to practice.  Fun, multi-sensory activities keep students engaged.
