What are the UDL Guidelines?

The UDL Guidelines are a tool that supports the implementation of the Universal Design for Learning framework.  The framework works to improve and optimize learning for everyone based on the science of how people learn.  The Guidelines can be used by anyone interested in implementing the UDL framework into a learning environment.  The guidelines offer concrete suggestions that can be applied to any discipline to ensure that all learners have access to and participate in relevant, challenging learning opportunities
