Benay Loftus, Program Administrator, Antelope Valley SELPA
Benay Loftus is the Antelope Valley SELPA Program Administrator and received both her Masters’ Degrees in Psychology and Educational Leadership in 1993 and 2003 respectively from California State University Northridge. She began her career with the Lancaster School District as a school psychologist. She spent nine years in that position becoming an administrator in Lancaster School District in 2002. Benay spent eleven more years with the Lancaster School District as a special education and early childhood administrator prior to becoming the SELPA administrator in 2013, where she provides support to the ten member districts of the Antelope Valley SELPA. She serves on the Executive Board of the SELPA Administrators of California and represents the organization as liaison with the Association of California School Administrators (ACSA). Additionally, she currently serves as the Greater Los Angeles Area SELPAs (GLAAS) co-chair for the Non-Public Schools Rate Reconsideration Committee.
Debra Rondeau, Assistive Technology Specialist, Antelope Valley SELPA
Debra Rondeau, is an Assistive Technology Specialist for the Antelope Valley SELPA. She started her career as a Multiple Subject Teacher and then moved into Special Education as an Adaptive PE Teacher. Developing a passion for students with special needs, she worked as an Orthopedic Impairment Specialist assisting students in physically accessing their educational environment before transitioning into the role as an Assistive Technology Specialist. As the SELPA Assistive Technology Specialist, Mrs. Rondeau supports member districts, organizes professional development in the areas of AT/AAC, conducts difficult AT Assessments, oversees low incidence equipment, and collaborates with districts in improving practices and outcomes for students with disabilities in the areas of Universal Design and Assistive Technology.
Jaime Tate-Symons, Giám đốc điều hành, North Inland SELPA
Jaime Tate-Symons là Giám đốc Điều hành của North Inland SELPA (NISER). Audrey Weed, Điều phối viên, North Inland SELPA
Audrey Weed M.A., CCC-SLP, là điều phối viên của Khu vực Giáo dục Đặc biệt Bắc Inland (NISER) SELPA. 제니퍼 힉스는 플레이서 카운티 교육청(PCOE)의 교육 서비스 부교육감입니다. 힉스 부교육감은 PCOE에서 유아 교육, 형평성 혁신 및 지원, 리더십 및 학습 협력 부서를 총괄합니다. 그녀는 캘리포니아 주립대학교 새크라멘토 캠퍼스에서 인문학 학사 학위를, 월든 대학교에서 교육 리더십 석사 학위를 취득했습니다. 힉스 부교육감은 개선 및 실행 과학 프레임워크를 전문 학습, 코칭 및 리더십 활동에 성공적으로 통합해 왔습니다. 또한 연구 기반 학교 개선 활동을 촉진하고 학생들의 다양한 요구를 충족하는 프로그램과 서비스를 설계하고 실행합니다. 웨스트에드(WestEd) 형평성 가속화 프로그램 펠로우인 그녀는 형평성을 보장하고 지속 가능한 시스템 변화를 만들어내는 데 열정을 가지고 있습니다.
캐서린 페레이라, 교육 혁신 및 지원 담당 이사
플래서 카운티 교육청의 교육 혁신 및 지원 담당 이사인 캐서린 페레이라는 차별화된 지원, 주 및 연방 프로그램, 교육과정 및 교수법 분야에서 각 교육구와 협력하는 업무를 담당하고 있습니다. 교육청에 합류하기 전에는 교장, 교감, 교육 코치, 전문성 개발 강사, 교사로 근무했습니다. 학교 현장에서의 경험을 통해 다단계 지원 시스템(MTSS)의 지속 가능한 시스템 구축, 전인 교육 지원, 교육 리더십 제공, 효과적인 전문 학습 공동체를 통한 역량 강화에 주력했습니다. 그녀의 학교 개혁 접근 방식은 시스템 전반에 초점을 맞추어 소외되고 취약한 학생들의 요구를 해결하기 위한 창의적이고 체계적인 방법을 포함했습니다.
